Here's some more Scarecrow-cuties that I happen to fall upon during my mindless searching for other things for ideas. I hate it, when I'm web-surfing for something in particular, I inevitably find all the things I never knew to look for ... "DUH!" Yes I am, having too much fun coloring this Frankenstein image!! The first image I call Frank's "work attire" and the second one, Frank's "disco look" for the Monster Bash! Both are dimensionally designed; back layer shadow is grey, then the whole image cutout is applied onto it; pants-shirt-right shoe are colored. Second layer atop that is the left shoe cutout colored, the jacket hands and head are all one piece; just the jacket is colored. Third layer; face and hands are cutout, colored and overlayed into postion. If you really want to get into "depth," Franks top forehead piece is cutout and added again, eyes are glazed over using a big dallap of liquid glass to each; so are his fingernails. The photos really don't do it justice!

I just love-love-love Frankie! A man made up of all the parts/qualities a woman looks for in her man (tee-hee)! To me, just as the heart is to Valentine's Day, Frankenstein is to Halloween ... it's the only time he gets notoriety! You'll have to excuse me, but, I haven't any recollection as to where I acquired this adorable Frank image, but, I thought my doodles followers would like having some fun with it too! My packaging design has some similarities to the one in the video, however, I had to improvise the equipment techniques to whatever I could find and instead of the outer panel I used Frank. Of course any packaging template can be substituted (such as the one below) for your desired outcome (or make a card) ... the videos were just some inspiration that got me thinking! Funny, how that works?! Just click on the Frankenstein and box template images to enlarge, right click your mouse on enlarged image and in your drop down menu "SAVE AS..." to your folder :0)

This pretty paper chandelier will make a great decoration for parties and celebrations. This chandelier is easy to make using our template - Chandelier Template. There is, however, a lot of cutting involved, so this might be a good project to spread out over a couple of evenings. The chandelier decoration is made from cutting four chandelier shapes using the template and joining these together to create a three dimensional shape. Rubber stamps can be used to add decoration and detail to the paper chandelier. I used gold ink to add a sparkle to the chandelier decoration. There are a number of ways that this project can be adapted. Making more pieces, for instance, would produce a more detailed finished look. Read more ...
